Ed Endsley, Photographer-Graphic Artist

I was flying just east of Broken Top in the Central Oregon Cascades on December 24th, 1999 as the full moon was setting and the sun was rising. This scene is why one of my passions is producing aerial photographs of the mountains. The light lasted only a few minutes. Just long enough to stare in wonder and make a few photographs. This area is the top of the Bend watershed and I have hiked through it many times. It is a magical and powerful place.
